Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar, a British American singer and musician, is well known for her songs. She received the British House of Commons' Shield as the youngest, and also the first female recipient. Alongside nine Grammy nominations, she was also the first Indian-born musician to present at and perform during the ceremony live. Anoushka Shankar is the hottest star on the Indian sitar. She is a student as well as child of Ravi Shankar. Born in London in 1982, and began her life by hopping from London and New Delhi. When she was only 13, her first show at New Delhi took place. Then she moved into Encinitas CA, where she earned her High School diploma with honors in 1999. Anouskha is an aspiring young lady, but she has a very impressive career in music and performance. Since quite some time, she performs regularly alongside her father. The year 1998 saw her released Anourag as her first solo record. It was nominated for a Grammy Award. Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. As she's appeared on all the major stages in the world, her career on stage has been extensive. Her career extends beyond the realm of music.
